Dinomite Launch for Norfolk Attractions Campaign 2012
Peter Williamson, Chairman of Norfolk Tourist Attractions’ Association (NTAA) http://www.norfolktouristattractions.co.uk, celebrated the publication of NTAA’s 2012 brochure at Dinosaur Adventure Park’s new indoor attraction Dinomite, with Martin Dupée from Dinosaur Adventure Park and Lydia Smith, Director Norfolk Tourism.
Some 500,000 NTAA brochures promoting the county’s top attractions will be distributed to more than 3,500 outlets throughout the East of England. Now in its 21st year, NTAA currently represents more than 100 attractions in Norfolk and North Suffolk.
NTAA Chairman, Peter Williamson of Merrivale Model Village Great Yarmouth said: "Norfolk’s attractions are looking forward to a successful 2012. The Diamond Jubilee, Torch Relay and the 2012 Games make this a year of celebration, when we can expect a great boost for English tourism."
"Norfolk is the perfect Olympic and Paralympic base," continued Mr Williamson. "Rather than stay in the London area, visitors can enjoy the historic city of Norwich, the magical waterland of the Broads, 90 miles of stunning coastline, busy seaside resorts like Great Yarmouth, Cromer and Hunstanton and the heaths and forest of the Brecks. NTAA’s brochure offers a superb choice of attractions across the county for visitors to enjoy, before they head for the London Games by train direct from Norwich and Diss to Stratford and from King’s Lynn and Downham Market to King’s Cross."
Norfolk Tourism Director, Lydia Smith added: "Norfolk has a fantastic variety of attractions, from historic houses and gardens, to theme parks, zoos and craft centres. NTAA’s brochure is a first class guide to the county’s top days out and is a must for both visitors and residents as they celebrate the Diamond Jubilee and Torch Relay, enjoy our major festivals including the Norfolk and Norwich Festival in May, King’s Lynn Festival in July and Great Yarmouth Maritime Festival in early September."
Dinomite is a new indoor attraction at Dinosaur Adventure Park http://www.dinosauradventure.co.uk dedicated to the under 5's with climbing nets, bridges and ball pools and three massive slides from gentle slopes to a terrifying vertical drop. There is a 130-seater coffee shop with an outside terrace where families can enjoy hot and cold meals and snacks. There are also three rooms available for birthday parties. Dinomite is open daily all year from 9.30am.

Sally Randell Celebrates 25 Years on the Fairhaven Garden Team
Colleagues and friends of Sally Randell, joint tearoom manager at Fairhaven Woodland and Water Garden, South Walsham, marked her 25 years at the garden with a surprise party and a gift of new garden bench.
Sally who started work at the garden making sandwiches and serving tea and cake in a multi purpose building that was also the shop and ticket office, has seen the garden develop into an award-winning visitor attraction and now manages the new ‘green’ tearoom, which opened in 2008.
“I love working at Fairhaven,” said Sally Randell. “The garden is beautiful and the people I work with are like one big extended family. The number of staff has grown over the years, but we have still maintained the family feeling.”
George Debbage, former Fairhaven Garden manager who employed Sally in 1987 said: “I had known Sally for years and was looking for someone to give my wife Beryl a break. She agreed to help out on a few occasions, then as the garden grew in popularity became a regular and valued member of the tearoom team.”
Louise Rout, Fairhaven Garden manager added: “Sally is a fantastic person to work with. She is always positive and has a wonderful sense of humour. Sally has been a vital support as we have steadily increased events and activity at the garden to develop it into a year-round attraction.”

A poem to celebrate 15 years of the Tagman Press
TAGMAN’S BIRTHDAY - 6 FEBRUARY 2012
Full fifteen years ago today
The Tagman Press was born
In a humble wayside stable,
Shortly after dawn;
It promised books to excite us
To inspire us and transform,
First came The Final Message
Way above the norm!
Soon followed Dr Batman,
With his wondrous “Water Books”
They consolidated Tagman
And helped heal many folks;
Then later came dear Margit
“Sandemo of the North”
With her Legend of the Ice Men
To add to Tagman’s worth;
Now there’s Making of a Britflick
Miracle in Kigali and Saigon,
This week The Pathway Back appears
The big-hearted logo thunders on!
Now e-books shine promised glory
From Tagman’s Norfolk base
What an amazing story?
Suggest you watch this space!
